1 On 22nd March 1918 an inquest was held into the death of Mary Ann Kennedy (Nee Ryan).
Mary Ann died on 8th March 1918 in the Melbourne Hospital as a result of injuries caused by her alighting from a moving tram car at Lygon St, Brunswick on the 26th February 1918. Verdict was death was due to misadventure.
Mary Ann had left her son Williams residence at 249 Weston St, East Brunswick to visit the Womens Hospital to deliver a parcel. Mary had called at some friends on her way back when the accident occurred.
